316L/1.4404
1.4404 is a low carbon, austenitic chromium-nickel-molybdenum steel. When 1.4404 material is welded, it is resistant to intergranular corrosion. For this reason, it is preferred to use instead of 1.4401 in cases where welding will be made. It is not resistant to corrosion in sea water.
Application areas are used in automotive industry, chemical industry, construction industry, petroleum and petrochemical industry, decorative and kitchen equipment, food industry, aviation, electronic equipment, medical and pharmaceutical industry equipment.
