440 C / 1.4125
It is one of the stainless steel grades with the highest degree of hardness due to its high carbon content. In addition to high hardness, its toughness and corrosion resistance are also very high. It can reach hardness values of 61 HRc by heat treatment. Good corrosion resistance in hardened and tempered condition.
1.4125 is popularly known as AISI 440C.
