1.4122
It is one of the stainless steel grades with the highest degree of hardness due to its high carbon content. In addition to high hardness, its toughness and corrosion resistance are also very high. Corrosion resistance same or slightly better than 1.4122 – 1.4016. Excellent mechanical properties that can be achieved by targeted heat treatment. It also provides relative preservation of its mechanical properties at increasing temperatures.
Due to the molybdenum additive, the sensitivity to cavitation is lower. It reaches optimum corrosion resistance with a polished surface.
